"I have been a volunteer in one way or another for every single Libertarian Presidential campaign since 1988. When I first heard about Wayne Root back in
December 2006, I was rather skeptical. However, I did two things to make sure that Wayne was not just another Libertarian Presidential candidate wannabe.
First, I had Wayne send me a DVD that had recordings of his appearances on the ABC TV program "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," and a couple of his
speeches. After watching that DVD, I was totally blown away. Here was a young, good-looking person speaking in favor of smaller government, and doing it in a
way that gets people excited and interested.
Second, I had to make sure that Wayne really was a libertarian. I asked him to take the World's Smallest Political Quiz. Wayne scored 180 out of a possible 200,
and that was back in January 2007, when Wayne was still a registered Republican. As you know, 180 puts you very much into the libertarian quadrant on the quiz.
At that point, I realized that Wayne could become the first Libertarian Presidential candidate to exceed the 1,000,000 vote barrier, because Wayne is able to
sell the Libertarian "story" in a way that will get voters to pay attention to both Wayne and his message.
Since the Libertarian Presidential candidate is not going to be able to purchase tens of millions of dollars of paid TV advertising, the ability to get free
media is very important. Since announcing his candidacy last year, Wayne has gotten more national media than any other pre-nomination Libertarian Presidential
candidate.
Some of you might think that Wayne is very aggressive, or that he has a big ego. If you think that, you are 100% correct. And those characteristics are exactly
what the Libertarian Party needs in a Presidential nominee.
When our candidate is being grilled by a Barbara Walters or by a panel of journalists, the last thing you want is someone who is going to give dry, highly
intellectual answers. What you do want is a highly skilled communicator who is very sure of himself, so that he will be able to defend the libertarian point of
view against all kinds of nasty, misleading questions. And he needs to make that defense in the 30 or 45 seconds that you typically get during a radio or TV
interview.
When you vote for the Presidential nominee in Denver, remember that it is much easier to talk people into voting for a Libertarian for Congress, or State
Representative, if the voters have a positive feeling about our Presidential nominee. If you nominate Wayne Root for President, you will guarantee a much better
reception with your voters for your own local Libertarian campaigns across the country.

Mancow Muller Calls Libertarian Presidential Candidate Root "The last great hope for America."
Mancow Muller, host of "The Mancow Show," one of America's top rated nationally syndicated morning shows, featured guest Wayne Allyn Root for an hour this morning.
Mancow's show reaches millions of listeners from coast to coast. Root was live in-studio in Chicago, after appearing on WGN's Morning News show, the highest rated
morning TV show in Chicago.
Muller who calls himself a strong Libertarian, endorsed Root live on the air. Mancow called Root "The last great hope for America" and said he could not vote for
McCain, Hillary or Obama, but would now vote for Root.
Root and Muller discussed a wide range of political topics- including the economy, education, homeschooling, medical marijuana, online gaming and Root's background
as a college classmate of Barack Obama. If Root wins the LP Presidential nomination, it will be the first time in the history of American politics that two college
