Can the GOP really be this stupid? It appears many in the GOP Congress are suddenly willing to raise taxes. What utter fools. As Forest Gump’s mother (played by Sally Field) said, “Stupid is, as stupid does.” And this is world-class stupid.

If GOP politicians can’t figure out any good arguments to oppose tax increases, I’ll give them a few.

First of all, Obama and the Democrats argue that the wealthy don’t pay their “fair share.” Really? The top 1% pay 40% of all the taxes. That’s not “fair?” They also account, according to the New York Times, for 33% of consumer spending and 30% of all charitable giving.

So if everyone agrees that allowing a tax increase on the middle class, in the middle of an economic crisis, is bad for business, why would it be okay to raise taxes on the group that makes 33% of all purchases in the economy? You mean high income taxpayers won’t cut down on spending, buying homes, starting businesses, and creating jobs? Wow, if that’s true, monkeys can fly, hell is freezing over, and Democrats can defy the forces of gravity.

Only those totally ignorant about the economy, those who have never actually created a job, believe the fairy tale that taking money away from the top spenders, investors and job creators isn’t going to further damage the economy.

Secondly, Obama claims that it’s “fair” to go back to “Clinton-era tax rates.” Well that’s just not true. Under Clinton, there was no Obamacare. The new healthcare law raises taxes dramatically on the highest income earners. So by combining income tax increases with Obamacare taxes, the highest earners will pay substantially more than under Clinton. So Obama’s claim is a lie.

More importantly, Obama is comparing apples to oranges. Economic growth is about more than taxes. It’s about regulations, mandates, entitlements, and spending. So next time Obama suggests it’s “fair” to go back to Clinton era tax rates, the GOP should say it’s only “fair” to go back to Clinton era spending, regulations, and welfare reform. Let’s agree to roll back all spending, entitlement increases, government programs, and regulations enacted since Clinton. That’s the only compromise the GOP should agree to.

Obama and the Democrats also love to point to Ronald Reagan as a man willing to raise taxes. Reagan was actually the greatest tax cutter in American history. He cut income tax rates from 70% to 28%. This massive tax cut saved the U.S. economy, directly created over 20 million jobs, and motivated record-setting economic growth.

But after all that massive tax cutting created the greatest economic expansion in history, only then did Reagan agree to compromise and raise a few taxes in return for serious spending reduction. Compromising after the economy has turned around, and a magnificent expansion is underway, is far different than raising taxes in the middle of an economic crisis. To compare the two is fraud.

Democrats have used Reagan’s “compromise” as an excuse to paint Republicans who refuse to raise taxes as “extreme.” Republicans should turn the tables. Whenever a Democrat like Obama wants to raise taxes, Republicans should point to Democratic hero John F. Kennedy as the ultimate tax cutter and call Democrats “extreme” for ignoring the success of JFK’s tax cuts.

I’m also sick of hearing Democrats call today’s tax rates “historically low.” That is once again a lie. There are many factors that determine your tax bill- like deductions and tax credits. Overall, we are all paying among the highest taxes ever. That is why “Tax Freedom Day” is now set at April 3rd. That means the average taxpayer has to give the government all his money until April 3rd, just to pay his tax burden.

Yet in 1900 “Tax Freedom Day” was January 22nd. Facts don’t lie folks. If taxes are low as Obama keeps claiming, then why does it take until April to pay our taxes, versus mid-January in 1900? Because Obama is lying. Our tax burden is today just about the highest in history.

Perhaps stupidest of all is the idea of raising “revenue” instead of taxes. GOP politicians spout this nonsense all day long. You can’t claim to be against tax increases, but then vote to “raise revenues” by eliminating deductions. How is that different? If my taxes go up, what difference does it make how it gets there. If I used to owe $10,000 to the IRS, but now I owe $15,000, didn’t I just lose $5000? Does it matter if tax rates went up, or my deductions were eliminated? You can disguise your words, but you can’t hide the truth.

Here’s some common sense for the economically ignorant in Congress. This entire Great Depression II was created by the collapse in residential real estate values. Reduce or eliminate the mortgage deduction for upper income taxpayers, you will automatically wipe out about one third of the value of every high-end home in America. Entire upscale suburban neighborhoods will be decimated overnight. Foreclosures will skyrocket. Residential real estate will take a final dive, causing a new bank crisis. Wealthy consumers will slow their spending. We are looking at a total collapse of the U.S. economy- caused by ignorant politicians. Unfortunately some of those ignorant politicians are Republicans.

Lastly, Republicans need to point to the EU as an example of high taxes damaging or destroying an economy. If higher taxes help an economy, why is the EU insolvent and on the verge of a Great Depression? Why aren’t Greece, Italy and Spain models of economic success?

The GOP’s role is not to assist Obama in crippling business owners and job creators…in destroying even more jobs…in damaging the U.S. economy even further. If Obama wants to do that, let him commit economic suicide alone- and accept all the blame.

Barack Obama’s election, the events leading up to it and the way the media have treated Obama certainly seem to indicate that America has officially become a Banana Republic. You know, one of those places where leaders control the media and the election outcomes, too.

For example, take the election results. Not a word in the mainstream media about massive voting irregularities. Not a word mentioned that Mitt Romney won every State requiring voter photo ID, or that Obama won in closely contested States that require no voter ID, like Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nevada, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Was there voter fraud? We don’t know. You’d think an investigative reporter somewhere might be interested in this story? Amazingly, the media say nothing.

Or how about the impossible fact that in 59 voting precincts in Philadelphia, Romney got zero votes? Statistically impossible. Yet it happened in 59 precincts in one city and nine precincts in Cleveland. And in urban voting precincts in Florida, Illinois and Colorado (States wide open for fraud), Romney got zero votes. In many other inner-city precincts it was 100-1, 450-1, 315-1. This just isn’t possible. Yet the media say nothing.

Or what about the historic correlation between voter enthusiasm and winning? In 2008, Obama had all the enthusiasm. Not surprisingly, he won. This time around, polls proved that conservatives had a huge edge in enthusiasm and intensity. The tables had reversed. Romney rallies attracted 20,000 and 30,000 enthusiastic fans, while Obama rallies attracted embarrassingly low numbers.

On a personal level, I had reports from hundreds of friends and fans who excitedly reported three- to four-hour lines to vote in suburban conservative and Christian areas across this country. Yet we are told Romney had about 2 million fewer votes than John McCain received in 2008. Impossible. In multiple States there were reports of electronic voting changing Romney votes to Obama votes. Something certainly appears off. Someone should at least be investigating. Yet still the media say nothing.

Polls showed military members supported Romney by landslide numbers. So Democrats actively suppressed military voting, doing everything in their power to make it extremely difficult for soldiers to cast a vote. The media say nothing.

By the way, none of this may have affected the election results. Romney may have had literally no support from blacks, Latinos, women or college students in many areas of the country. Maybe there was no ballot box stuffing in urban precincts. Maybe Obama’s supporters didn’t vote multiple times with no voter ID required. Maybe the military really didn’t care to vote. But shouldn’t the media be mentioning the controversy? Isn’t it their job to investigate and prove it wrong? Yet the media say nothing.

Hurricane Sandy decimates New York and New Jersey. The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response is pathetic, embarrassing, close to criminal. No food or water for days. No power for weeks. FEMA did not pre-position the most basic of supplies — like bottled water. They were completely unprepared, incompetent, invisible. This was Obama’s Hurricane Katrina. Yet while Bush was vilified, blamed and called “racist,” the media praised Obama, never blamed him; and 15 percent of voters call his response significant in their decision to vote for him on Election Day.

Then there’s Benghazi, Libya and the U.S. Consulate disaster. President Obama was warned that our Libyan consulate faced an attack on 9/11. He did nothing. The consulate asked for beefed up security. He did nothing. Four brave Americans died — including our ambassador. Obama’s Administration lackeys watched in real time (with drones filming it all from above) from the comfort of the White House Situation Room. They did nothing. SEAL teams begged for permission to rescue our boys. Obama ordered them to stand down. He not only left them behind, he watched them being murdered. Yet the media say nothing. 

Then he covered it all up. CIA Chief General Petraeus reported to Obama, declaring it a terrorist attack. But that reference to terrorism was removed. Obama, Hillary Clinton and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice spent two weeks falsely blaming a YouTube video. Obama referred to the YouTube video four times in a speech at the United Nations two weeks after the attack. This was clearly a cover-up to save Obama’s re-election. This is Watergate with four dead bodies. The media say nothing.

Days before the election, out of nowhere, the Obama Labor Department extrapolated that 873,000 new part-time jobs were created in one month. This “miracle” allowed unemployment to miraculously dip below 8 percent after 43 consecutive months. Perfect timing for a politician trained in Chicago fraud politics. The media say nothing.

But now that the election is over, the Department of Labor reports new jobless claims rose by a staggering 78,000 for just the first week after election, while The Wall Street Journal reports capital spending by America’s corporations has literally collapsed. I guess the perfectly timed one-month recovery is officially over. Any investigative reporter who reported on this fraud would win journalism awards. Yet no one in the media seems to want the job.

The Bureau of Labor & Statistics reports “real unemployment” (called U6) is 14.6 percent. Have you ever heard the media using the 14.6 percent real unemployment number and tying it to Obama? Or did you hear that food stamp growth was faster in Obama’s first term than job growth? During the campaign, the media mysteriously said nothing about those damning statistics.

Obama promised to cut the deficit in half; instead, he doubled it, increased the debt by a mind-numbing $5 trillion and presided over the first credit downgrade in U.S. history. Obama’s 43 consecutive months of unemployment above 8 percent was more than all the months over 8 percent from Presidents Harry Truman to George W. Bush combined. Did you ever hear the media mention that fact? During the campaign, the media said nothing. 

How about Obama’s secret tape about his love for “income redistribution” (the central tenant of socialism)? The media repeatedly pounded Romney’s 47 percent tape into every voter’s subconscious, but mysteriously ignored Obama’s tape for the entire campaign.

During the Presidential debates, Obama lied repeatedly. The biggest whopper was his claim he supported oil drilling. Facts proved drilling permits were down 60 percent under Obama. Two days after the election, Obama issued a plan to close 1.6 million acres of Federal land in the West originally slated for oil shale development. Still the media say nothing.

The media never mention Obama’s schedule. We are in a Great Depression II. Our economy is in the worst crisis since 1929. And Obama’s entire year 2012 was filled with golf, basketball, fundraising, campaign rallies and “morning zoo” media appearances. How is there any time left to deal with the economy? Well, there’s not. Obama’s Jobs Task Force has not found the time to meet in almost a year. The media say nothing.

Nothing to see folks. There is no story. Just move along.

The story I’ve just told you could be expected in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea or Zimbabwe. I would never have guessed in America that the mainstream media would take their marching orders directly from the President.

It sure appears that we are now officially living in a Banana Republic.

I predicted Mitt Romney would win in a landslide. What went wrong? Was my prediction based on hope or bias?

My prediction was based on a combination of scientific evidence and common sense. First, it was based on common sense that no President could possibly be re-elected with the worst economy of our lifetimes. With an economy that has produced more months above 8% unemployment (43) than produced by all the Presidents between Harry Truman and George W. Bush combined (39). People just don’t vote for the guy that brings you misery, malaise, foreclosures and bankruptcies, record unemployment, and inflation at the gas pump and grocery store. This election should have been, 100 out of 100 times, a repeat of Reagan’s landslide over Carter.

Secondly, my prediction was based on common sense that turnout, enthusiasm, and the makeup of the electorate would be far different than 2008. Obama’s coalition of single women, minorities, and young people were the groups most hurt by his economy. They are the ones without jobs. They are the ones suffering. 14.3% black unemployment. 53% under-unemployment for college grads. Logic dictated these groups would not come out in record numbers again.

No one is such a glutton for punishment they’d return and ask for a second helping of misery, malaise and despair, right? 

Well, I was wrong. The 2012 electorate looked almost identical to 2008. Obama’s supporters didn’t just come for a second helping of misery- they came out enthusiastically and cheered for more.

Lastly, my prediction was based on SCIENCE- The University of Colorado’s predictive model had never failed. It worked to perfection in the Presidential elections of 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008. It predicted a Romney landslide based on scientific facts and historical precedent.

This combination of science and common sense would tell you that in this economy, no President could be re-elected. Unless Obama is more an “American Idol” and messiah than a politician, and his followers ignore logic, facts, and the misery they are experiencing.

Unless we have reached the tipping point that Thomas Jefferson warned about, where a majority now gets checks from government, and realizes they can vote for the guy who promises to keep the checks coming.

Obama’s re-election proves that bribery as a campaign tactic is validated. Promise enough “free stuff” and you win votes, even if the end result is no jobs, no hope, and a lifetime dependent on government. You wouldn’t believe this could be true. Not in America. That’s why my prediction went wrong.

Why else did Romney lose? Mitt did plenty of his own damage.

Romney picked the wrong VP. The GOP has to reach out to women and Latinos. Back in May, I predicted a Romney landslide if he picked Marco Rubio as his running mate. If Mitt picked Rubio, he would have locked down Florida and made deep inroads with Latino voters. With an electorate divided almost exactly 50/50, the Latino vote is the missing link for the GOP. Attract even 5% more of the Latino vote, you win. 10% more, you win in a landslide.

Paul Ryan added nothing. He reinforced the image of the GOP as an elite club of rich white men. In a diverse country, this choice said “diversity is unimportant.”

Worst of all, Ryan’s views on abortion reinforced that the GOP wanted to take away women’s sexual freedom and rights. Ryan supports no exceptions for abortion including rape, incest, or a women’s life in danger. Men and conservatives didn’t notice. But Obama’s campaign team made sure women noticed.  Millions of female voters ignored the awful economy and record unemployment and voted for Obama based on women’s rights.

How does the GOP solve that problem? Simple. The next time any GOP candidate mentions abortion and rape in the same sentence- gag him, hogtie him, and put him in the basement until the election is over.

The real answer is to run candidates who are fiscally conservative and principled, but socially moderate and modern. The GOP needs candidates that say “Roe vs Wade is the law of the land. I will uphold it, even though my personal views are Pro Life. And I will ALWAYS support exceptions for rape, incest, and when a mother’s life is in danger. Period.” The issue is off the table- forever. What’s left? The economy and jobs- winning issues for the GOP.

FINALLY…

Politics is played just like a football game. What matters is how you start, how you finish, your ground game, and your level of aggressiveness.

Romney started poorly, allowing Obama’s television blitz to define him as a greedy, mean-spirited robber baron.

Romney ended poorly, spending all his money on television ads instead of a “ground game”- ie a massive get-out-every-last-vote effort (like Obama).

In between, Romney was not aggressive enough on the two defining issues of the campaign.

The first was the auto bailout. Romney lost the Midwest because of this issue. Romney should have taken the offensive with this argument: “President Obama tells us that he ‘saved’ the auto industry. It was his one and only accomplishment- so he repeats it one hundred times a day. The reality is that he merely stole $25 billion from the taxpayers to protect the pensions of auto union members, who contributed tens of millions to his election. Now taxpayers owe that $25 billion, plus interest- and you don’t even get a car! Obama also allowed private sector autoworkers to lose their pensions- because they didn’t contribute to him. This is all immoral, if not criminal.”

That argument would have won the Presidency.

Then there’s Obama’s Libya Embassy scandal. Romney played it safe in the final debate and never took the offensive on the issue of Benghazi. Americans never quite understood. But they would have understood one image: “Mr. President you denied them the security they asked for, watched them die in real time, refused to send a rescue team, and then covered it all up by blaming a YouTube video. You left 4 Americans to die on the battlefield.” Game, set, match.

If Romney had been aggressive and not played it safe, would we be talking about President Romney, and celebrating my brilliant prediction? We’ll never know. But if Romney had picked Rubio as his VP, and GOP Senate candidates Akins and Mourdock had never tried to tackle abortion and rape, I have no doubt my prediction would have been “on the money.”

Mitt Romney is a nice guy. A gentleman. But in politics, nice guys often finish last.

To win the election, and beat a sitting President, Mitt needed to do more than nicely debate Obama. He needed to indict Obama. 

Here is the speech that Mitt should have given.

“Let me start by stressing that President Obama may be a nice man. He may be a good husband and father. He may love this country. He may think he is doing what is right. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Nice or not, Barack Obama believes government has the answer to every problem. He believes in punishment of the successful. He believes in income redistribution. He believes in massive spending and debt. He believes in so many rules, regulations, and mandates, that no one can open a lemonade stand anymore without permission from government.

Those beliefs destroy economies and kill jobs everywhere they’ve ever been tried. The U.S. economy under Obama is in crisis and free fall. You don’t need to look far to prove Obama’s policies are dangerous and deadly. Europe has been following Obama’s plan for decades- big government, big unions, big spending, big taxes, big entitlements, big pensions, free healthcare, too many government employees, and unlimited spending on green energy and high speed rail. The result? Economic disaster on a grand scale. Greece, Italy, and Spain are enduring a tragedy few can comprehend. France is next. Someday we will read about this in history books.

America, under Barack Obama, is following the exact same path.

This is the state of the U.S. economy under Obama. Judge for yourselves:

*As of Election Day, unemployment is officially listed at 7.9%, the highest for any incumbent since FDR.

*More importantly, the REAL unemployment rate (including the under-employed and those who have given up looking)…is in the range of 15%…Higher than in most years of the Great Depression.

*Unemployment in the black community is 14.3%.

*Unemployment and under-employment for college graduates is a staggering 53%.

*The Labor Force Participation Rate among men is the lowest since 1948.

*Food stamp growth is 75% greater than job growth under Obama. 46 million Americans are now on food stamps.

*The record 11 million Americans on disability is larger than the population of a majority of U.S. states.

*Over 100 million Americans get entitlement checks.

*One sixth of all personal income in the USA is now provided by government.

*The housing collapse is now deeper than at the peak of the Great Depression.

*The net worth of the average American is down 40%.

*New business startups are at the lowest level in 30 years.

*The U.S. credit rating has been downgraded for first time in history.

We are experiencing UNIMAGINABLE economic wreckage, crisis and collapse from coast to coast.

None of this is a coincidence. 

With 60,000 new rules, regulations, and mandates in only 3 years, President Obama has turned the entire U.S. Economy into a “Hostile Work Environment.”

With Obama demonizing the wealthy and taunting entrepreneurs and financial risk-takers with “You didn’t build that”…

With the EPA attempting to put the coal industry completely out of business…

With thousands of new IRS agents hired to harass & intimidate business owners…

With massive new tax increases looming…

With 3000 pages of Obamacare containing 23 new taxes…

With 2000 pages of Dodd Frank making it much harder for banks to loan, or for businessmen to raise money…

With $115 TRILLION in debt and unfunded liabilities at the federal level…

With states, counties, and cities even more broke and insolvent than the federal government (the debt in Cook County, Illinois is now an unimaginable $108 billion)…

You have to question if this is incompetence, or a purposeful plan to overwhelm the system with debt and entitlements, to collapse the U.S. economy and weaken faith in capitalism…to turn America into a European social state.

President Obama tells us that he “saved” the auto industry. It’s his one and only accomplishment- so he repeats it one hundred times a day. The reality is that he merely stole $25 billion from you and me (the taxpayers) to protect the pensions of auto union members, who contributed tens of millions to his election. Now your children owe that $25 billion, plus interest- and you don’t even get a car! But Obama allowed private sector autoworkers to lose their pensions (because they didn’t contribute to him), while closing only auto dealerships owned by Republican contributors. This is all immoral, if not criminal.

Ladies and gentleman, we have to change direction, before we have no country left to defend…before we have no economy left to rebuild…before unions strangle the life out of the private sector… before taxpayers are sucked dry to pay for a food stamp and unemployment benefits economy…before “free” healthcare adds trillions in debt to our children’s burden…before Obama’s extreme views on energy leave us all dependent on nations that hate America and support terrorism…before Obama uses Executive Orders to render Congress and the Constitution meaningless.

Before every terrorist attack is given a politically correct name…before more victims are blamed when Islamic radicals slaughter them over a cartoon, book, or film…before every Bible is permanently removed from our military bases and hospitals…before all religious celebrations, except Ramadan, are permanently removed from our White House…or before 6 million Israelis are wiped out in a second holocaust due to a foreign policy of apology, appeasement, and indifference.

This is our last stand. For capitalism. For small business. For the American Dream. For our Judeo-Christian values. For our small businesses. For our children and grandchildren’s future. For the survival of the American Dream. And yes, for our guns and Bibles.

When you walk into that polling place to vote, remember that Osama bin Laden is dead…and so is a United States border agent who died in the Fast and Furious scandal…and so is our Ambassador and three heroes abandoned and left to die at our Libyan embassy…and so is the U.S. economy.

Remember that even at this moment…as broke as America is… Obama is giving $450 million of your taxpayer money to the radical Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt.

Remember Obama denigrates those that cling to old fashioned ideas- God, country, faith, family, capitalism, and our American exceptionalism.

Remember Obama presided over a Democratic convention that booed God. Three times. 

Forgive, but never forget.

Now, let’s go out and reclaim our country. God Bless America.”

That was the speech Mitt should have given.

The American people needed to hear the raw, unvarnished truth- without sugar-coating.

The key to getting elected wasn’t to debate Obama. It was to indict Obama.

Being “nice” and refusing to offend anyone just re-elected Obama. It may end the country we all know and love.

Well I’m not Mitt. I’m not waving any white flags. I’m a Tea Party conservative. I’m going to fight hard and aggressively. And I’m going to help take back our country. This battle has only just begun.

The Romney landslide I predicted back on May 30^th, and in the media virtually every day since then, is materializing. The signs are everywhere that Obama is enjoying his farewell tour. These are the last days of his political career. Read on and experience the signs of the huge defeat coming on Tuesday.

Protected by the biased liberal mainstream media and polls over-populated with Democrats (based on the 2008 election turnout), most Americans haven’t a clue of the trouncing Obama is about to experience on Election Day. As a matter of fact, I’ve been a guest on several liberal talk shows of late where they actually think Obama’s re-election is a lock. They see a light at the end of the tunnel, but they have no clue it’s a train bearing down on them. Tuesday night will be a very long and sad night for Democrats.

But it will be even worse for the media that has drank the Obama Kool-Aid. Chris Matthews and all of MSNBC’s hosts will need special medical teams standing by on-site and “permission to use electric shock” orders clipped to their clothing.

What makes me so sure of a Romney landslide? The signs are everywhere.

First, enthusiasm always wins elections. Obama’s voters are disappointed and depressed. Many are in shock. They just can’t believe the anti-business policies of the Messiah and his demonization of the wealthy didn’t magically create jobs and incomes. Actually food stamp growth outpaced job growth by 75% under Obama. As my blue collar butcher father used to say, “Son, I’d love to hate rich people, but no poor person ever gave me a job.” It turns out dad knew better than all those books Obama read at Columbia and Harvard Law.

Obama’s core constituencies are blacks, Latinos, single women, and young people. How could they be excited?

Black unemployment is 14.3%. Latino unemployment is close behind. Single women might get free contraception under Obama, but that $10 per month savings is immaterial if you have no job and no income. Besides, sex just feels so much better when you’ve got a job.

And then there’s those naïve young people. Four years ago Obama was a miracle man promising a bright future to college kids with wide eyes. Today unemployment and under-employment for college grads is 53%. Yes, I said FIFTY THREE PERCENT. Vote on Tuesday? Most young people will likely be in bed, covers pulled over their heads, zoned out on Xanax, and eating Doritos under the blanket with a flashlight.

Doubt my gut instincts? The most shocking tell-tale sign of Romney’s coming landslide is the panicked Democrat game plan in states like Minnesota, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Polls show Romney leading or tied in these deep blue Democratic states. Sensing blood, the Romney campaign has suddenly decided to spend millions of dollars on TV ads in these three states. Obama’s chief propagandist David Axelrod claims this is a sign of Romney’s desperation. He says Romney can’t find a path to get to 270 electoral votes.

How do you know who is telling the truth? Well that’s pretty easy to figure out. Bill Clinton was dispatched to Minnesota a few days ago. Joe Biden was sent to campaign in Pennsylvania. Why? If these states are solidly in Obama’s column, why waste Clinton and Biden’s valuable time in the closing days of a Presidential campaign in front of home team crowds? Why indeed. Democrats are panicking. Obama’s deep blue firewall has been breached. Romney’s battleground has been expanded into states no one (except me) ever thought possible. Romney has Democrats on the run defending their no-longer-safe home turf.

But wait the story gets better. On the last day of the campaign, Bill Clinton is making four appearances across the state of Pennsylvania. Why waste your biggest gun on the last day barnstorming a state already solidly in your win column? Bill Clinton should be in Nevada, Colorado, Ohio and Florida. Why waste his time defending a deep blue state that was supposed to be salted away 6 months ago? Because Pennsylvania isn’t in Obama’s win column. The state that has voted Democrat for President for decades is now trending Romney.

Hint- watch Pennsylvania on Tuesday night. If Romney wins it, or is even close, a Romney landslide is happening. Pennsylvania is “the canary in the coal mine.”

But the most important sign is crowd size and enthusiasm. In my home state of Nevada, only 10 days ago, Democrats worked long and hard to barely pull 5000 people off the streets to come to an Obama rally in North Las Vegas. Meanwhile in Henderson, a quiet suburb of Las Vegas, an overflow crowd of 8000 jammed into a rockin’ Romney rally that closed the streets for miles. Families came from far and wide with their children to see the next President.

Or take Ohio- the lynchpin of the entire election. Whoever has the enthusiasm will surely take the state. This weekend Obama attracted 2500 to a rally in a medium sized city. Romney/Ryan attracted over 30,000 to a rally in a small town. Obama then traveled to Cleveland, where his rally attracted 4000 fans. Four years ago his Cleveland rally attracted 80,000. If only these were instead rallies for the unemployed, Obama would be playing to standing room only stadiums in every city in America.

The size of those crowds tells the depressing story that the Obama campaign and the mainstream media don’t want you to know. Obama is no longer a Messiah. He’s just another lying politician, with a boring message that no one wants to hear anymore.

Yes Mr. Obama size matters. And you sir are suffering from shrinkage.

As a former Libertarian Presidential contender, the 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential nominee, the former Chairman of the Libertarian National Campaign Committee, and the man called “Mr. Libertarian” by media across this country, you might be surprised to find I’m supporting Republican Mitt Romney for President. Yes, this Las Vegan has gone “all in” for Mitt. Mitt Romney is the only sane choice for Libertarians.

It’s simple. Libertarians believe in less government; lower taxes; cutting rules, regulations and mandates to get government out of the way of small business; reigning in out-of-control government agencies like the EPA; auditing the Fed; and balancing the budget. Sound familiar?

So do Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Certainly a little less than Libertarians, including me, would like. But, I’ll take incremental progress over no progress. Mitt Romney is a step in the right direction.

Barack Obama is a thousand miles in the wrong direction- a direction that leads to the bankruptcy of our children and grandchildren and the destruction of the American Dream. A vote for anyone but Romney is a vote for Obama and his disastrous road that leads to the end of America (as we know it).

The Obama you’ve seen for the last four years is nothing like the radical Obama that will be unleashed for the next four. The first Obama term was just a small taste of things to come. Without having to answer to voters again, Obama will be his REAL radical self. Without restraint, Obama will ignore Congress, and govern by Executive Order. These radical Executive Orders from “Obama unleashed” will change America forever.

Don’t believe me? Are you aware Obama issued almost 1000 executive orders in his first term? That’s more than all other Presidents in history combined (and still counting). In a second term Obama will render Congress meaningless.

In 8 years Bush added $3 trillion in debt and created 20,000 new government rules and regulations. Disgraceful. In protest, I left the GOP in 2007. Then along came Obama. He has added $5 trillion in debt and 60,000 new rules and regulations…in only 3 ½ years. Unimaginable.

In a second term, with no voters to answer to, Obama will be free to wreck the American economy just as he was taught by a slew of radical, Marxist, American hating mentors- Barack Obama Sr., Frank Marshall, Saul Alinsky, Professors Cloward & Piven, Bill Ayers, and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. These aren’t liberals. They are publicly avowed radicals and communists.

In Obama’s second term he will unleash economic Armageddon- the total collapse of the U.S. economy and our financial system. Today the real unemployment is in the 15% range. By 2016, we will look back with envy at “the good old days.” You think $5 trillion in new debt is bad? Wait until Obamacare kicks in, adding trillions in new taxes and spending that will double the national debt.

Europe has been following Obama’s plan for decades — big government, big unions, big spending, big taxes, big pensions, big entitlements, free healthcare, too many government employees, out-of-control pensions, and unlimited spending on green energy. The result? Economic disaster on a grand scale. Greece, Italy, and Spain are enduring a tragedy few can comprehend. France is next. Someday we will read about this in history books.

America, under Obama, is following the exact same path.

Hopefully I’ve got your attention.

This election is NOT about Libertarian versus non-Libertarian. This election is about capitalism versus Big Brother socialism. Mitt Romney is far from perfect, but at least he believes in capitalism. At least he won’t denigrate and discourage business owners. Be thankful for little things.

I’m not just a Libertarian. First and foremost, I’m a Capitalist Evangelist. I’m proud to be a small businessman. Economic issues are the whole ballgame at this point. We need to get our fiscal house in order first. Without an economy, without jobs, it’s impossible to deal with all our other problems. Mitt understands, as President Calvin Coolidge once said, “The business of America is business.” That’s why electing Mitt Romney is so important.

This election is our LAST STAND to save America. Mitt understands that Obama’s rhetoric, constant threats against business, union favoritism, IRS intimidation, 60,000 new rules and regulations, stimulus to nowhere, never-ending unemployment and food stamps, the added taxes and regulations of Obamacare, and the attempt to ban oil drilling and regulate the coal industry out of existence, have collectively ground the U.S. economy to a halt. We will not survive four more years of Obama as CEO of this economy.

The U.S. economy is a large, diverse, failing company in desperate need of a turnaround. At this moment in history America needs a CEO with a track record of extraordinary success, job creation, and specifically- experience turning around failing companies. That person is Mitt Romney.

As Clint Eastwood said, “We own this nation.” It’s time to take it back. The future of America and our children depends on it. Their quality of life is hanging in the balance. Our back is to the wall. Obama’s defeat is that important to our economy, our freedoms, our children’s future, and ultimately, the very survival of our country.

It’s time for a coalition of Republicans, conservatives, Tea Party activists, Libertarians, Ron Paul supporters, small business owners, financial first responders (investors and business owners willing to risk our financial lives to create jobs), patriots, and common sense middle-class Americans to join together and support Mitt Romney now.

That is why I’m voting for Mitt Romney. That is why I urge all Libertarians, and Ron Paul supporters, to swallow hard, put our differences aside, and support Mitt Romney.
Vote as if your life…your business…your children’s future depends on it. Because it does.

Las Vegas Oddsmaker Doubles Down on Prediction of Romney Landslide

In November of 2004, only days before the Presidential election, I went on CNBC and predicted a Bush victory by 3 points and 30 electoral votes. Every poll at the time showed Kerry in the lead. Bush won by 3 and 35. Newsmax magazine called it the most accurate prediction of 2004.

In October of 2006, I went on Fox News to predict the GOP would get slaughtered in the midterm election and lose Congress. They did.

In December 2011, before the GOP primary, I predicted Mitt Romney would win the GOP Presidential nomination and go on to win the Presidency. For the next few months, Romney trailed by a wide margin to a range of contenders- Donald Trump, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum. It seemed no one wanted Mitt for President. It seemed no one believed in Mitt. No one, that is, except this Las Vegas oddsmaker and capitalist evangelist.

Fast forward to Spring 2012 after Romney clinched the GOP Presidential, but trailed in every poll to President Obama. I boldly predicted a Mitt Romney landslide on November 6th.

Fast forward to June 2012, when experts forecast a defeat for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in his recall election. Unions were pouring unheard of sums into the race in a longtime Democratic state that welcomes union rights. I boldly predicted a Walker landslide victory of 7 to 10 points. He won by exactly 7 (despite reported Democratic voter irregularities).

For the past month, as Mitt Romney trailed badly in every poll, especially the all-important battleground states, I continued to predict a big Romney victory. Today I’m making it official:

I’m doubling down. Mitt Romney will win the Presidency, and it won’t be close.

I’m predicting a 5 to 7 point popular vote victory. Electorally it won’t be that close. Romney will win many states that went to Obama in 2008. I’m predicting Romney victories in Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Indiana. I predict a Romney victory by 100 to 120 electoral votes.

In the days before the first Presidential debate, polls showed Romney trailing badly in most of those states. But, as I’ve argued from day one, the polls are wrong. They are badly skewed towards Democrats. Quite simply they are over-polling Democratic voters and assuming a turnout that looks like 2008, when record numbers of Democrats came out for Obama.

After Romney’s overwhelming victory in the first debate he now leads, or is dead even in battleground states where, only days before, he was supposedly way behind. My contention is a 1 point Romney lead in those Democrat-skewed polls is really a comfortable 5 to 7 point Romney lead on election day.

There are several specific reasons I predict a comfortable Romney victory on election day:

· The news media is ignoring signs of mass revulsion towards Obama. In the West Virginia Democrat primary, a felon got 40% of the vote versus Obama. In deep blue Massachusetts and Connecticut, GOP Senate candidates are even, or leading in recent polls. In pro union Wisconsin, Walker won by a country mile. But worst of all for Mr. Obama, several recent polls show Romney competitive in Illinois- Obama’s home state. Romney is actually winning by a landslide in the suburbs of Obama’s Chicago. Even in Cook County, the country’s biggest Democratic stronghold, Romney leads by double digits among independents (43-31) and white voters (53-40). These are very bad signs for Obama.

· In 2008 Democrats overwhelmingly controlled the majority of Governorships. Today Republicans control the majority of Governorships. Presidential elections are always steered in each state by the Governor- the most powerful force in state politics.

· After the 2010 census, electoral votes were added to states that lean Republican in elections: Texas, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, South Carolina, and Utah. Deep blue Democrat states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Massachusetts lost electoral votes.

That brings up an interesting point. Why is everyone running away from these ultra liberal, high tax states in the first place? Isn’t that alone proof of the failure of Democrat ideas?

· Next, follow the money trail. Yes, Obama is raising plenty of money, although there is a major question if it’s coming from illegal foreign contributors. But forget all that. What matters is that in 2008 Obama overwhelmed McCain by out-spending him 10 to 1 down the stretch. That won’t happen in 2012. Romney is even, or can out-spend Obama, in the last 2 weeks of the election. That makes a huge difference in the outcome.

· Christians will turn out in record numbers this year. Obama has offended Christians again and again. Last election 20 million evangelical Christians did not vote. They will turn out in record numbers in 2012 to defeat the most anti-Christian President in U.S. history. How motivated are Christians? Did you see
the long lines around the country to support Chick-fil-A a few weeks ago? You’ll see those same lines on election day.

· Voter rolls have been purged in 2012 of felons and illegals in many states- particularly Florida and Ohio. Turnout of Democrats will be nothing like 2008.

Which brings up another important question. What kind of political party relies on felons and people illegally in the country to win elections?

· The “Enthusiasm Factor” for Romney is huge. Conservatives are focused, intense, motivated, and enthusiastic. Democrats turned out for Obama in record numbers in 2009. Today they are demoralized. A big edge goes to Romney on Election Day as conservatives, white voters, middle class voters and independents turn out in record numbers for Romney.

I know several people who voted for Obama in 2008, but never again. Does anyone know a McCain voter who will vote for Obama in 2012? There are none.

· Finally, history proves that a majority of undecided voters break for the challenger. Romney will take most of the undecided voters on election day- just like Reagan did versus Jimmy Carter in 1980. Romney’s fantastic debate performance gave them confidence to choose the challenger.

This is Carter/Reagan all over again. The same horrible economy. The same economically ignorant fool in the White House bringing misery to Americans. The same economic collapse under the weight of socialist, pro union, soak the rich, demonize the business owners, policies.

I predict the same result on election day. Mitt Romney in a Landslide.

And If I’m wrong- God help The United States of America.
